I don't think so, I just tested the following statement in an RPGLE
program:

Select = *on;

and got the same error.

However, if I change it to

Eval Select = *on;

the error is gone.

So it might be a reserved word _unless_ you use the Eval opcode.

Does this qualify as a little nono then?
