How are you looking at the physical file?
If you are using DBU, AND the physical file is indeed keyed, there should
be no problem.
If you are using DSPPFM, then I believe you are looking at the file in
relative record number.
If you are using another RPG program, have you defined the file as keyed?
Again, I repeat the first question
How are you looking at the physical file?
