I really need the ALWUPD/ALWDLT features.
Simple authority settings is not enough for this file.
I need to do file handling on the file and as a result will need to create a
new file from time to time.
That file should be keyed and I can not compile the file (Not save and sound
and there might not be a compiler on the box).
I had hoped SQL could provide the solution.

Ok, will proceed with plan B.

Thanks,
Eduard.

Subject: Re: AW: Can I create an ALWUPD/ALWDLT *No file with embeded SQL?

In SQL created tables you can grant or revoke privileges, but if you
created the table with DDS, and in the CRTPF you set ALWUPD to *no and
ALWDLT to *no, the table behaves like if it is in a "Write Only" media
and nobody can grant update nor delete privileges.
This restriction is much stronger than the REVOKE from SQL. Can we have
somethig equivalent?
