Barbara, I have found the library QDEVTOOLS on my 5.3 system. I only see
CRT and CHG commands related to the proxy commands. Is there a way to
find out what command is at the bottom of the list so you could
programmatically make that determination and then copy/change that one?

Dave, the proxy commands are new in V5R4. See the Memo to Users

Chapter 2. i5/OS operating system
IBM commands copied to QSYS library will be proxy commands

You can use the QCDRCMDI API (retrieve command description) to get the proxy information. (Until just now, I thought DSPCMD OUTPUT(*PRINT) was the only way ...)
