Since it is an RPG IV program using an API, I just surmised that this would be the appropriate forum. I'll move it to -L after answering your question.

Using the WRKHDWRSC command and drilling down to the display and Print device addresses, none of the emulation (iSeries Access) or network devices are shown. Only those that are actual twinax displays and printers attached to the workstation controller. None of these devices, including the system console, are retrieved by the API.


Thanks for pointing me to another API. I had failed to look under the "General" heading.
