Another SQL question concerning ALIAS

Hi guys -
For the first time for me, I need to run SQL against a file with multiple
members.
The way I am doing the testing is by using OVRDBF before I STRSQL
I seem to remember something about using ALIAS for just this situation
Does anyone have a small example on how to use ALIAS in this situation
