Yes, this is exactly what I ended up doing, thanks. I now have a first API 
call 
before the loop using JrnVarR03 and the API call inside the loop uses the 
JrnVarR02 key.

If I get AeBytAvl > *Zero; Then I use the JrnVarR03 key.
