You need to copy the source over to the target machine and specify it's
location (if different from where it was compiled) when you start the
debugger.

Subject: FTP Problem

Hello!..
Could anyone please help me in this?. I was trying to FTP an *PGM
object as save file from one AS/400 box to other box. The program is
written in RPG and compiled with *SRCDBG. Once I trasnfered and restored
the object in the target box, STRDBG showed blank page with the message
the 'OPM program source is not available'. When I did double-check in my
source box, STRSBG displayed the source.

I also gave a try in transfering a RPGLE program object. Same result..
STRDBG on the *PGM object on the target box showed blank page as such it
was compiled with *SOURCE or *LIST option.

Will the compiler option be changed when you do FTP the object from
one box to other?. Any help in this is appreciated. My Source box is in
V5R1 and version of taregt system is V5R3.

  Thanks,
  Sivakumar Kanagavel.
