Infinium stores dates as 8.0 numeric (CCYYMMDD), 6.0 'hundred year format'
(goofiest thing I've ever seen) and 10A 'edited', complete with seperators.
For every date. Tons of dates.

Then theres those of us who have a "package" where there are:

1. True Date fields
2. 6 digit date fields (2 Flavors)
      a. YYMMDD
      b. MMDDYY
3. 7 digit date fields (1st pos=1 then 2000 1st pos=0 then 1900)
4. 4 seperate fields (again 2 Flavors)
     a. C, YY, MM, DD
     b. CC,YY,MM,DD

and joy of joys there are files that have ALL 4 (6 if you count the
flavors)
depending on the date field..................
