Vern;

You can't use *ZEROS this is a numeric value, indicators are character
values of '0' or '1'.

Subject: Re: Checking indicators

The indicators can be treated as an array. The name of it is *IN with
elements from 1 to 99.
1. Declare a 20-character variable     CHAR20
2. MOVEA     *IN(n)      CHAR20
3. Compare CHAR20 to *zeros

I was hoping you could in free form try %subarr(*IN : n : 20) = *zeros
because *IN can be used as in the above example as an array - no such luck
in a quick test. It also did not work when assignting the result of %subarr
to a variable. I kinda think this could be a bug but will not pursue it.

I have a need to check whether 20 indicators are on or off and I'd like to

find a way if possible to check them all without having to use multiple if

statements.

Is this possible?
