There will not be an issue when all three service programs are bound to
one. Unless, maybe, you are EXPORTing them all. In that case, the use of
Export on a variable should be only used with great care and forethought.

Subject
Global variables in a Service Program

Quick question. I've got some variables and constants that I'd like to
make global but I'm concerned about scope. Basically, I have three
service programs that all use a couple of the same fields, i.e. errMsg,
cmdLen, myCmd, etc.. Do I put them at the top of each svcpgm module or in

a separate copybook? And would there be issues with duplicates when all 3

svcpgms were bound into one rpgle pgm?

Thanks,
