I am not an expert Vernon but I used to debug this specific program in the past (like 3-4 yrs ago) by starting a service program for that job: (like STRSRVJOB JOB(JobNumber/JobUser/JobName) ) and by starting debug mode for the program and setting my breakpoints: (like STRDBG PGM(Library/Program/) UPDPROD(*YES)), for example. Is something like that what you are referring to? I think that all I need to get in to the program and see, step-by-step, what is going on.
