If you don't want to purchase software you might be able to make this 
happen via the CA/400 Run Remote Command option, however you don't get any 
control over the printing process. 

If you're open to commercial options, our iSeries Office Integrator 
product can be used to print PDF file stored on a local PC, network or the 
iSeries IFS.
