   Hello all...

Are you clearing field by field or clearing via the record format name?

   Have a good day.

HI I am having a problem w/ building a work file. I do a few chains to
various files, for the purpose of identifying problem records in our EDI
   system.

I am getting strange data in the output, I do a CLEAR after every WRITE.
but I must be missing something.

There are 2 writes to this file. The first is if there is a no found
condition, between one set of EDI files and another (they should be
   matched).

The other is when a field is not equal to same field in a cross ref. file.

   Thanks,
   Steve
