Extremely complex sql general becomes very hard to understand and
maintenance. My advice would be tried to use good old RPG for it. Of
course, everybody has his/her own tolerance/definition of extremely
complex sql :).

Subject: SQL Update in RPGLE.

So, it can't be done using SQL? or is it just that doing it the way
Michael suggested is an efficient way to do this. I have an extremely
complicated SQL query with lots of files but I was just testing it on a
simple file if it works.

Thanks,

Mike.
