Yes, you can do that.

In Query 400...

Open your query.  In the Select record section.  Grab the field you want to
compare, and then say EQ to   :Month.   There is a COLON before month.
Press ENTER.  It will ask you to save to Query or File, CHOOSE QUERY.  and
enter the name of the query.

Then you can use  STRQMQRY instead of RUNQRY, to pass the parm.  The
keyword is SETVAR, I think.

it is alpha, but w/it being a monthly can this be done in Query to run
every month and use the current month?
