I work when I want to work. that usually means:

up at 4:30am and 4 hours from home on one client.
9:30am to 5pm (1 hour lunch) for another client.
maybe an hour at home again for the first client, to bed at 9:30pm
maybe 4 to 6 hours from home over the weekend.

I have no other life, so I usually just work.

I do have the freedom to take off if I feel like it (and deadlines
allow) and I take 4-6 long weekend type vacations a year, so i get my
free time.
