Dan,
What is it you want from that API?
Perhaps a concise example might be a bit easier than replying wit
information on a 90-page long API.

Subject: QDFRTVFD to get field's position (row column) on a display format

Does anyone have working code for this that they'd be willing to share?

QDFRTVFD is one helluva beast. I've found a few sources that I've
downloaded, but I haven't got one to work yet.

Note: We do not have QSYSINC loaded on our system, and it probably won't
happen until we upgrade from v5r2. This caused:
File QRPGLESRC in library QSYSINC with member QUSEC not found.
File QRPGLESRC in library QSYSINC with member QUSROBJD not found.

I know it's not supposed to be done this way, but if anyone can share these
two source members (at v5r2, if it matters), I would greatly appreciate it.

Fun fact: The documentation for QDFRTVFD in the File API reference is 90
(NINETY!) pages long.

Many TIA,
Dan
