First you should chain to the RRN of the SFL, already mentioned.

After returning from the pop-up selection window, move the data to the SFL 
field, and update the SFL. To get the record noticed as changed using READC, 
you should use the DSPATR(MDT) (Modified Data Tag) on those SFL fields or the 
SFLNXTCHG key word, in both cases with an conditioning indicator).
