Where exactly does one find the RPG enhancements that come along with an OS upgrade?
Whenever I upgrade from one release to another, I go to the ILE RPG Reference manual (which is in the Information Center under Programming -> Languages -> RPG -> ILE -- in new releases it's called the "WebSphere Development Studio: ILE RPG Reference" but it's the same book)
At the start of this manual is "What's new in V5R3" There's also info about what's new in V5R2, V5R1, etc.
I think I've seen them in Ops Nav and I've also seen them in the Websphere Help text, but is there an official place to get enhancement information? I'm at V5R3 and until today I have been using DatNum6 = %Int(%Char(DateUSA:*MDY0)); To convert dates, but I didn't know I could just use DatNum6 = %Dec(DateUsa:*MDY0);
