What format is the SAP system expecting the data to be in? I was wondering
why you were going to put the data in the IFS first.

Subject: File transfer project question, AS/400 1 World to SAP

HI I am looking at a project that will involve taking AS/400 JD Edwards
One world data, and sending to the parent company that uses a SAP system.

My thoughts are to write a program in RPG that will move the files needed
to the IFS, then a CL will FTP this to the parent company.

I would appreciate any technical comments on the method I am thinking of,
or if you have more direct exp. as well.

Thanks,
Steve
