Subject: Display a message

Hello group:

What I thought would be pretty simple has turned into me scratching my
head. I have an interactive screen where the user enters a date, press
enter & it generates a report. This works fine, but I wanted to add a
message that blinks telling the user "Please wait generating your
report".

So I added the "Please Wait..." to the dds like this:

      A 8 26'Please wait....'
      A COLOR(RED)
      A N31 DSPATR(ND)
      A 31 DSPATR(BL)

C Exfmt Scrn1
C * do logic to validate the entered date

Added this to my program after validating everything is ok

C*
 C Eval *In31 = *On
 C*
 C Write Scrn1
 C* begin producing report

No blinking message appears, just begins producing the report. This can

be done, but what am I missing?
