Everyone will attest to the fact that I'm not the smartest person here, but it took me under 90 seconds to find the web page that definitively answers the common 'why doesn't %eof(recfmt) work?'

The bookmarking issue isn't addressed. This is NOT a complaint; merely a suggestion to others who want to send a bookmark. You still need to click in the right frame, view frame info, triple click, ctrl-c (copy). The direct link to %eof() is:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/topic/books_web/c0925085583.htm#HDRBBEOF

This Infocenter is very much more like the DB2 and AIX infocenters, so I suspect this is what we need to get used to. DO address your thoughts directly to the Infocenter people by using the email address

RCHINFOC at us.ibm.com

(you'll have to de-mung it first.) Apparently, the feedback link is not visible from Firefox.
