Right, you don't know... your job in the compare routine is to simply
compare the two values--the sorting routine is sending you of them to
compare and based on what you tell it, it is swapping them in the list.

Thanks, I was able to get this working using QSORT.  I can't say that I 
understand how it works.  Like, which array element is passed into DS1 and 
which one into DS2?  What the he!!, I have it working.
