And isn't that the truth? I wonder how much time difference there would be 
between (1) simply recompiling to RPG IV using the desired features and (2) 
searching for ways to get those things done in RPG III. Since a programming 
change is already being made, any issues of retesting are already part of the 
total time... unless the expectation was that the cobbled-together code-patch 
wouldn't need significant testing.

It's been years since I've done it, so I've pretty much forgotten the true 
amount of time. I recall it being faster to convert, so where does that take 
any counterpoint?
