Dear all,

Can anybody tell me why DBGVIEW (*STMT) is used in comparison

With *LIST & *SOURCE. In my opinion this option seems to be
very primitive

Compared to *LIST & *SOURCE .I guess *LIST provides all the
facilities that

*STMT provides (that is debug using source statement numbers
or line

Numbers depending on whether *SRCSTMT option is given) + a
view of source

Also is it always true that we can never see the source code
online while

Debugging if *STMT option is given?

Please correct me if I am under estimating the *STMT

Also please tell me if giving *SRCSTMT & *NOSRCSTMT makes any

difference if I am selecting DBGVIEW = *SOURCE?

In this case is there any relation between the line numbers
shown in the

Debug View with either SEU source statement numbers or
Compiler Listing?

Thanks & Regards,

S.chand
