The problem that I am having is that the program has worked for months
with no problem. But I go in and make a modification that has nothing
to do with the data structure and then I start getting decimal data
errors. When I look into the problem, all I do is initialize that data
structure and no more problems. So, can anyone tell me why it didn't
show up at first but manifested itself when I made a very small
modification?

Marvin

What did the new line of code do? I've caused decimal data errors by
not initializing data structures hundreds of times. My problems have
always involved using the uninitialized data structure. Sometimes they
were obvious and sometimes they were subtle.
