Although RTVNETA sounds the easiest, because I generally do not like to call CL programs from RPG, I think I will go ahead and use the QWCRNETA API and add the subprocedure to one of my existing service programs (which I was going to do in any case).

Or, if you do end up using an API, put it in a subprocedure in a service program so that future programs can just call that subprocedure.
