Hi Nick

I would expect that you could use the system API's to determine who has
been allocated a licence, whether the job is active or not and then
release the licence if the job is not active.

Unless somebody has something similar, I'll try and knock something up.

All the best

Jonathan

Subject: Releasing licenses

Hi,

We are running MAPICS XA and whenever a User signs into it, the system
puts an entry into the License Info for our MAPICS software.

I go into WRKLICINF 3 times a week to release licenses that Users are
not
signed on to at that time.

Is there any way I can write a utility that will do this, or is there
anyother way of releasing the license when the User signs off?

Thanx,

Nick
