Have you (or anyone else) found a way to force Excel NOT to convert long numbers to scientific format? I am opening some tab delimited text files that contain UPC numbers. Excel automatically converts them to scientific format. If I don't reformat the column and continue to save the file, the real digits will be lost.

 Any ideas?
