We use a product called cool spools. It's extremely easy to use, they have
a free trial for 30 days, and the support is simply amazing. It also does
PDF's, HTML, TEXT, RTF, CSV as well as a TIFF and a couple other formats.
It has command based prompting, or you can simply call the command via
RPGLE that will run as soon as the reports are done. It can do bookmarks
in PDF, as well as splitting the spool file. Very easy to use. Takes
roughly an hour or so to browse thru the manual, and then you are ready to
go. Pricing is good too. I've attached a link to the website so you can
check it out. We are currently on version 4R1, the latest is 5R1. I've
got to evaluate the 5R1 to see what's changed before implementing into our
system.

Subject
Exporting to Excel

Some of our users are wanting their reports exported to excel......I am
sure
I am not the first to have this request, so I would like to hear how
others
have accomplished this.

Thanks....

Douglas
