At a COMMON a few years ago I heard George Farr say something to the
effect that RPG would be around until some date--it was before 2020--at
least far off enough that it looked like I could retire from an RPG
shop.  I could tell he was just pulling a number out of the air to
reassure people that RPG had a future.  I made the mistake of posting
the comment to an AS400 mailing list without (apparently) enough
context.  Boy did I get flamed.  <g>

George has a dry sense of humor.  You have to be there to understand
him.
