That's right, I forgot about that.
Though that still requires additional effort. (Do I sound lazy or
what?)

I'm just curious if it's the nature of subfiles that w/o making SFLPAG
== SFLSIZ there will never be a way to condition a field on a subfile,
or if it is theoretically possible.

You can condition fields on a subfile display if SFLPAG = SFLSIZ. But
you need to take care of the rolling yourself.

As wonderful as subfiles are, I get tired of not being able to condition
a field in a subfile. I can't even DSPATR(ND) a field and have another
field appear because of it (the ND field will display as blank, the
field 'beneath' will never display on the screen as far as I can tell).
Why is this? Is there any hopes that this limitation will be lifted in
the future?

I realize I can create an alphanumeric field and edit it for output
purposes, but I'd rather just condition a field.
