Do you have the COBOL source? You could simply "read" it and create your own
RPG IV "D" specs from it.

Part of the problem is the files are a cobol stream file and we do not have 
the file layout, the vendor that wrote that program is unwilling to provide 
us with that information....I am trying to negotiate a deal with them for 
the info, but so far they have claimed its proprietary.
