You would have to create a function separately (and you could attach an
rpgle or any other programming module to do the calculations if it is
quite complicated). To call another module you could do:

CREATE FUNCTION myfun1 (DEC (1,0), DEC (1,0))
RETURNS DEC (1,0)
EXTERNAL NAME MYRPG /* optional */
LANGUAGE RPGLE    /* optional */

You could then call this function in your SQL select code.

I suggest a function for returning fld1/fld2 and you would call it as a
field in the sql. (BTW, The function can return only one value.)
