Re: CL commands from within RPG

make a procedure :

RunCmd with one parameter of vary length
in the procedure you refer to WCMDEXC an find the lenght of the command
(%len (%trim( myparm))
return a boolean *on = ok, *off=fail

in your rpg :
if runcmd(mycmdstring) ...........
