RE: Externally Printer File

Specify a field with a length of 100 characters.  In your RPG program, use
EVAL Char100Fld = *ALL'='.

You could also define a field with INZ(*ALL'=') and populate your 100
character field with that.

When creating the dds is there a way to include a repeating string?

IE: I would like to have the file print '=' from position 1 to 100,
obviously I don't want to have to type in a full hundred of these so if 
there is a way to repeat it would be very helpful.
