Here's what I did to get it to work.

Specify a dummy response variable and code it after a blank message queue
parm. Works great.

       d Pause           S              1a 

           Dsply Result ' ' pause;

Wanting to test this code out, I coded this:
     d Result          S              8S 0
      /FREE
       Result = %Int(%Char(%Date():*ISO0));
       Dsply Result;
       *Inlr = *On;
      /END-FREE

but for some reason, the Dsply flashes to the screen and ends.  It doesn't 
wait like it normally does.  Any reason for this?
