Joe,

Well, the reference manual does imply the arrays are stored contiguously
when discussing the OVERLAY keyword with an array:

"A noncontinguous array defined with the OVERLAY keyword cannot be used with
the MOVEA operation or in the result field of a PARM operation" - ILE RPG
Reference (SC09-2508-04), Page 160.

"If the subfield name, specified as the first parameter for the OVERLAY
keyword, is an array and it's element length is longer than the length of
the subfield being defined, the array elements of the subfield being defined
are not stored contiguously" - ibid, Page 314.

As the *IN array doesn't use the OVERLAY keyword this implies the *IN array
is also stored contiguously.
