Right, I got that working just about an hour ago.
Thanks for helping out with this.
It was the *DTS that was unknown to me. In Debug the field looked blank, yet
when I submitted it to batch and posted a message to the joblog with the
info, it had "crap" in it. That "crap" was the *DTS formatted date.
Thanks again.
If anyone wants to see the resulting RTVSBMJOBA CL command to go:
www.rpgiv.com/downloads and click the QRPGLESRC and QCMDSRC links. There is
also an example CL that calls the command in the QCLSRC file.

That makes sense - the field is defined as a system timestamp, so in the
event that you get something back your description would match precisely. -
You can use the QWCCVTDT input format *DTS to convert it to something human
readable.
