Oh - I just re-read the comment.  I think that the comment is wrong.

The comment shoudl say "*The radius ofthe earth in miles = 3954"

Right?

No laughing if my high school math is off, but yes...

c = 2 * pi * r

c = 2 * 3.14159...* 3954

c = 24,800+

Folks using this should note that the comment should read 'radius'
