I want to use it in a CLLE..
CALLPRC    PRC(idof) PARM(&IDSSN) RTNVAL(&Idn)

The CRTBNDCL command doesn't allow me to tie this to the binding directory..

That's easy to work around, just use CRTCLMOD followed by CRTPGM. (That's all CRTBNDCL does under the covers, anyway.)

This might be a bigger problem. In V3R1 - V5R2 you cannot pass parameters by value in a CL program. (Though, in V5R3 they added that capability.)
