Hi Douglas

Normally the "static" fields and column headings would go in the Subfile
Control record, however as you're creating a multi line subfile record you
ought to have the labels on the subfile record as well:

     A R REC
     A SFL
     A 4 7'EMPLOYER NAME:'
     A EMPLYR 40 O 4 22
     A 5 7'ADDRESS:'
     A ADDR 40 O 5 22
     A 6 7'CITY:'
     A CITY 15 O 6 22
     A 6 41'ST:'
     A STATE 2 O 6 45
     A 7 7'PHONE:'
     A PHONE 15 O 7 14
     A 7 42'FAX:'
     A FAX 15 O 7 47
     A 8 8'START DATE:'
     A STRDTE 8 0O 8 20EDTWRD(' - - ')
     A 8 42'END DATE:'
     A ENDDTE 8 0O 8 52EDTWRD(' - - ')
     A 9 8'REASON:'
     A REASON 15 O 9 22
     A 10 1' '
     A R RECCTL SFLCTL(RECSFL)
     A 51 SFLDSP
     A 51 SFLDSPCTL
     A 52 SFLCLR
     A 53 SFLEND
     A SFLSIZ(0003)
     A SFLPAG(0002)
     A 2 3'Truck Driving Information'

The field names and row/column positions will need to be changed to suit how
you want them set out. I've assumed that you only want to display the
values, if you want to input values into the subfile then change the "O"
before the row number to "B".

All the best

Jonathan

I thought the static fields went on the CTL record? At least that is what I
was shown how to do it, maybe I have been all of them incorrectly LOL......

I'll try that and see if that makes any difference.
