Good Afternoon,

I'm using Scott Klement's FTP API's and am having a problem. I'm trying
to send XML files from an IFS directory to a Windows 2000 server. I wrote
a program to function as an MPUT clone. I log into the FTP server on the
Win2K box as administrator, retrieve a list of files in a directory on the
IFS, and issue a PUT for each one (Using the ftp_put procedure).

The program is hanging on the put instruction, and I stepped into the code
a little deeper and found that the actual statement where it is hanging is
on a select() statement in the recv_line subprocedure. I know you can
specify a timeout value as a parm to the select() procedure, but the way
it's wrapped in Scott's procedure, it defaults to *NULL.

I can FTP the file fine from an interactive FTP session. I can get files
from the Win2K server with these API's just fine. Any ideas?
