You wan to put the DIM keyword on the first line, not the last one.
To do that you need to name your data structure, something like this:

D MyDs EUDS EXTNAME(APPF#1) DIM(100)

Then you refer to the DS subfields as: MyDS(x).#1usr

Subject: Externally Described Data Structure

Hi,

Can I define externally described data structure with multiple occurrences?
I am able to define it but I have to define each external field names for
multiple occurrences.

D EUDS EXTNAME(APPF#1)
D#1usr E DIM(100)
D#1cls E DIM(100)
D#1pgm E DIM(100)
.
.
.
Can I define it without referring to external fields? Please help.

Regard.
