Well then, nothing short of a gun to the head will do it then.  Some 
people just don't like change.  That's basically it.  We fear what we 
don't know, and some have no desire to learn anything that they don't 
already know.  But of course, sheer stubbornness and laziness are factors 
too in my honest opinion.  Another reason that I've found for fear of 
change, is not the teams, but the managers.  Too often I've seen a manager 
who used to code, doesn't know how to use the new stuff and therefore 
feels that the rest of the team should be at his/her level because they 
are afraid of not knowing as much as their "subordinates".  A good manager 
stays outta the tech and delegates the work, not micromanages.

Maybe not.  The last RPG III enhancements were in V2R3.
