Fair enough, but I'm just saying that if people wanted that they could
build it in a couple of hours.

FWIW, those w/the Synon tools have been able to specify compler options
in the source files for years (like 15+) that get handled by the
preprocessor automatically -- and for any compile, not just synon code.
All they are doing is looking at the request message in the routing
entry and changing it as necessary.

Because that and a $1.75 will get me a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Bob,

Why not implement this yourself, it's not that hard. Just add a routing
entry to the subsystem you compile in that calls your own program, not
QCMD. In that program scan the source for blank lines and change them to
/SPACE and at the same time check for complier overrides in the source
and change the request message. Then reroute the job and let it compile.
