hi there,
i'm sorry, but I have to bring that thread back to the top :)

I still have a little problem with Aarons SAXParser wrapper-functions.
The parser doesn't call the handler procedure for the attributes in my xml
file.
Just for the start and end tags of my elements.

Am I right with my xpaths for th attributes in my xml file?

     D vDesc           S            256A   Varying
     d                                     inz('//MGSvrReturn/RouteListe/-
     d                                     WegPunkte/WegPunkt@Desc')

I think this should work, but I can't figure out why the parser doesn't do
what I want.

------------------------------

Good morning list,

The problem seem to be in my XPaths.
eWegPunkt =   '//MGSvrReturn/RouteListe/WegPunkte/WegPunkt/>';
works...
But JUST this one.

I wonder if that "@" to mark an attribute in the XPath is right.
Or is it an "§" or something else that was converted wrong because of
different CCSIDs, codepages and such stuff.

error = Error_getError() isn't executed because on-error doesn't trigger
on.
my programs never have any errors :)

best regards
 Martin
