we just have the xml4pr400 *srvpgm here on our machines.
but its xml procedures should also return the right elementcounts i think.
but i'm not that good in xml and api programming so i used aarons
procedures, which seem to return wrong values.

before i try to program something with just the plain xml procedures i'll
first try aarons sax wrapper functions.

I've played with QXMLPR500 and tried to parse your test.xml .

The  QxmlDOMNodeList_getLength returns 105 elements and for each one the
QxmlDOMElement_getAttribute can return the attributes by their name,  one
at
a time (like Desc, Dir, Route, etc)
