And wasn't it Bob Cozzi that suggested in an article once that when we might need more than the 16 meg that we might use an IFS file?

Of course that wouldn't go away when the job ends, but there could be workarounds for that, depending... The support could be hidden away inside procs.. Hmm. Of course you could do that with a "cascading" open of new user spaces to accomodate new data.. Hmm..
